Eleglide Mopride

What the Eleglide Mopride is built for

The Eleglide Mopride is an electric mountain bike for trails and off-road riding.

It has a 250 W (570 W peak) motor, 55 Nm of torque and a top speed of 16 mph (25 km/h).

It carries a 576 Wh removable battery and a stated range of up to 12 miles (20 km) on a charge. Real-world range is usually lower than the rated figure: it falls with throttle use, hills, cold weather, rider weight and higher assist levels.

The Eleglide Mopride weighs 54 lb (24.5 kg), carries up to 265 lb (120 kg) including the rider, has front suspension and is rated IPX4 against water.

In the United States the Eleglide Mopride sells for $769, below the median of $1,299 across 22 electric mountain bikes with a US price, among the more affordable models. That is $1 per watt-hour of battery.

Where the Eleglide Mopride may be ridden

With a 250 W motor it fits the European pedelec limits of 250 W and 25 km/h, where it is treated as a bicycle.
